Vintage Photo - Duluth Blizzard March 1975

Title is supported to finish Duluth Blizzard March 1975, I hit enter too soon.

While reading the newspaper online, I found a link that used this picture as a thumbnail and I had to click on it. Looks like a 72 GMC getting a little slushy with a bonus 69-72 in the background.

Re: Vintage Photo - Duluth Blizzard March

Wow. Since it says Gold Cross on the side I'm guessing it was an ambulance. But with a plow on the front? That's not really what we expect an ambulance to look like. Maybe it was a maintenance vehicle for the ambulance company, but the emergency lights make me think it must have been used as an ambulance at some point.

Nice picture, though. Thanks for sharing.

Very cool picture. It looks like it says Red Cross under the window on the topper. That would explain the plow since they'd be out in severe condition situations.

Re: Vintage Photo - Duluth Blizzard March 1975

I've seen plows on 4wd ambulances before. Heck, I've seen them on garbage trucks. If it's that important to get the garbage picked up I guess picking up ailing people ranks somewhere near there
