Looks like the 67 lighters I've seen. And it has the light bulb option! I'm guessing you could still use this in your 72 if you have a nice bezel, unless I'm not seeing some difference. I've got a 67 at my shop. I'll have a close look at the lighter today. Sharpie

Re: can anyone id this nos lighter? what year?

It looks like the instruction sheet shows this being install in the instrument panel. The lighter in my 71 , is in the dash by the ash tray.

It also looks like it is made to match the other knobs on the instrument panel.
Were they in the panel in 67 ?

Re: can anyone id this nos lighter? what year?

A 67 lighter has little "ridges" all the way around the knob.It matches the rest of the knobs, lights, choke, wipers.Yours should be smooth like the one pictured.

I think the sheet had instructions for the step vans too look closely at the drawing of the instrument panel it looks different than the trucks

Re: can anyone id this nos lighter? what year?

It will work for your truck, its the correct lighter for that year. Now the light I'm not sure about.I've been messin' with these trucks since the 70's,never seen a light for the lighter.I've seen a light for the ash tray.

Re: can anyone id this nos lighter? what year?

Looks like a 68-72 lighter to me. 67 did match the other knobs with the knurled edges. I have only seen 1 other with the light option and that came from a C-60 i parted this spring.
