What is this tube in my D/S 1/4 panel?
72 burb:
I have pulled the panels off the interior and was spraying some bed liner on the inside of the 1/4 panels when I noticed this tube. It is about 1.5 inch diameter and is bolted to the floor via a flange and 2 bolts and dead heads at the top......couldn't make sense of it....any ideas:

Never seen that before, but my guess is that it's to keep the A/C plumbing away from the interior side panel.

I think the fuel tank has a vent line that runs up inside the tube.

It is! Does. Plus the charcoal canaster and all the gas fume reclaiming stuff jazz junk added in 1972.
