Greetings from Texas

Hello, fellas.

I've just recently inherited from my grandfather a 1972 C10. It's been in the family since it was new, as it originally was purchased by my great uncle. My grandfather is no longer able to drive, so he transferred the title to me. I feel spoiled, but I'd be lying if I said I haven't desired ownership since I was small. Needless to say, my brothers were slightly jealous.
This is a great, very active and informative web forum, and I'm very proud and grateful to be apart of it.
Pictured below is the Chevy, with my other set of wheels, a 2006 Mazdaspeed 6. I've got the love for rice burners as well. Heh. Not sure what the future holds for the truck as far as restoration with finances the way they are, but I certainly enjoy driving her around town for now.

Much obliged, friend.
I'm currently living in Krum, just west of Denton. I office in Fort Worth, and do alot of traveling for work.
Thanks for the welcome, guys.
I'm trying to figure out where I need to start with this truck. She's running pretty well. But she's got 110k miles, and everything is pretty much original, save for regular maintenance type stuff.

Re: Greetings from Texas

I am a firm believer in the if it ain't broke don't fix it theory of mechanical repairs and upgrades. the 2nd part of that for me is, if it IS broke throw an LSx in it!
