My 1976 K10 Project Build

Hi everyone! This is my first post and I thought what they heck I'll make it a build thread. This is my 1976 K10 that i bought from my dad for $500. My brother drove it in high school and he was always going to redo it but lost interest. Ill let the pictures do the talking. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks!

First step is putting some new tires and old school white spoke wheels on since this is going to be my 4wd for the winter.

Re: My 1976 K10 Project Build

It has been awhile since Ive posted on here about my project and quite frankly I am not as far as I would like to be. I have been working on the passenger side bedside that I got new from Classic Parts of America. I have friend that owns an autobody shop so he has been helping me on this.

It definitly takes more time and money than a person thinks it will. I work as a GM mechanic during the week so I tend to push my stuff to the back burner when it has been one of those long hard weeks.

Re: My 1976 K10 Project Build

Got my FAST EZ EFI system installed today. I gotta say im thoroughly impressed with how crisp it made the throttle response. It took us from about 9:30 this morning to 5:30 tonight with lunch in there. Ill probably replace the rubber lines with some braided when the engine is out and the front clip is off. The wiring will also be cleaned up but this was to just get some time with the system before a rebuild.

Your truck looks like the big brother to my truck. Cool ride.
