brake line question?
hello, My name is Mason Jordan, I am a new owner of a 66 pickup and i am having some problems with my rear brakes. I have the engine going and was working through the brakes.I changed the shoes, all the cylinders, and the two back brake lines. Well today I went to bleed them and come to find out i'm not getting any fluid to the back cylinders.I checked the tee to see if it was blocked and it wasn't. did a quick run through the line and didn't see any crimps in the line could the rubber line(the one on the back of the tee) be collapsed on the in side and not look like it on the out?if so what size in length and tread size would it be? if not what other reason could it be? the truck is not at my house. its about 15 miles away from my house and i only live like 1 mile to a parts store. don't want to drive there and back just to measure it.
Thanks MJ |

Re: brake line question?
Rubber hoses can collapse on the inside and you cannot see it, replace the rear hose to make sure that is not your problem. Most automotive stores will handle the correct hose or take yours in to match it up.
