I put a level across the two radiator support bolt holes on the frame, and my driver side is about 3/16" lower than the passenger side. Is this normal?

Body bushings could be worn out?

Did you put the truck on perfectly level ground first before using the level ?
Are the tires pumped up to the exact heighth before using the level ?

And as Frenchblue 72 ask is both springs and body bushings and other parts worn the same?

The best way to do this as far as I am concered is to jack the truck up and put blocks under both sides of the frames and after leveling these blocks ,,then use the level from one radiator support bolt hole to the other and check it this way.

I am not with my trucks right now to check for you ,,so maybe some one who is can check and put an eye to thiers and tell you by looking that they are level or not .

The front clip is off the truck. I have it on jack stands on a level concrete floor. It looks level and the frame looks straight, But with a level it shows almost 3/16" lower on the driverside. I just don't know if this is common, and could be fixed with shims.

well Im wiling to bet if it "looks" level that you are NOT level. 3/16" is very very minute difference when thinking your level

Not saying that he doesn't have it level ,,but you are right about how a small amount ,,,mount up.. for example ::: using a 24 inch level and it reads 1/16th inch off level adds up to 1/8 inch in 48inches and 3/16ths off in 72 inches ..

I have a 6 foot level that is on to the 32th and I even have to calculate with it ..so what i am saying is this ,,,longer the level and providing it is right on ,,it's the best.. GP

But after all this leveling ,,it still could be that the two bolts holes are not the same highth..from the factory ..

The method for measurement isn't really that scientific. I'd say 3/16" is within the potential measurement error.
