Boyd welding fuel tank 72 K20

Hey guys what's up, I finally took the bait and decided to do a fuel cell swap on the old red Chevy!!

Took the old tank out , cut neck off and left for original appearance

Nice truck, I prefer the special two tone over all the other two tone options.

The Boyds tanks are very nice. The only complaint I have with mine is it can starve for fuel when cornering below about 3/8 of a tank. I'm running an external fuel pump maybe the in tank pump is better? Let us know how it works out and if they fixed this issue.

I have a Boyd tank and have experienced the fuel starvation under hard exceleration when my tank has been low. This hydramat would serve good purpose for me.

Looks like your are running the old style tank with the square corners? Are you running fuel injection? If not you would likely not notice the problem.
