AL Rare 64-66 A/C Underdash ashtray - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

OK - so everybody wants a truck underdash ashtray and no one can find one. But what most of you don't know is Chevrolet had multiple uses for that ashtray body all the way back to 1953. So, this is a NOS GM underdash ashtray identical to its later re-purpose in the AC equipped 64-66 trucks, minus the bakelite handle vs chrome one used on Impalas and Trucks. Point being, you can dig around and probably find the Impala AC handle if you are OCD enough to seek one to replace the Black bakelite one.

Bakelite handle still has a little packaging wax on it (see pics) which wipes off, and has the hardware and mounting brackets to fasten to the bottom of your dash. Ashtray is super clean and smooth inside and out and ready for your Fawn interior paint.
