87 brake booster in a 68 c10
Over the weekend I swapped to a 87 front crossmember and disc brake setup from the boneyard. I got the bone yard to throw in the booster with it. My question is will the booster work? It has a little different bracket then I have sen before. The bracket that would bolt to the firewall is taller with 6 holes instead of the four I usually see. I'm wondering also if the pushrods will hook up properly. I wish I would have taken pictures of it before I left the shop. Over all the swap went well and even managed to lay in a lt1 for some mo power! Not bad for a days work.

with some modifications just about anything is possible. with that booster you may need to adjust the location that it hooks to brake pedal to get the trow distance correct. it may take a little more throw or a little less throw to work that booster or you may get lucky and it will be about the same as the old booster.

I was sorta wanting to not have to modify a bunch of stuff.
