Re: 73 Tahoe?

Looks nice, need another 4-6" in front of the rear wheel and a better side window treatment to make it look as if GM built it. Rear side doors were notched too much IMO.

hmm thats interesting there. it does seem to only be as long as a blazer, and they downsized the body appropriately to fit... unless it was a shortbed frame they used?

Re: 73 Tahoe?

thats a real pic, no evidence of a photochop, i blew it up plenty big on the computer. think it cant be on a blazer frame for sure, wb is just too short and the fenderwell would be way further into the rear door. looking at my truck thru the window, i think they cut down the burb body to fit on a 4wd shortbed frame

boy would i love to try this just to be different, id keep mine 73-79 body too, just change the color combo to somethin rare too, like that russet brown with the buckskin tan in the middle, and 2wd. lowered slightly with 8 and 10-inch tan corvette rallies with the truck dogdish hubcaps still, really make you think, damn its rare. oh yeah, cant forget 4 factory buckets and 2 consoles!

Hmmmm, Looks like a Suburban to me......The Tahoe badge I believe started in about 1992. Looks real clean and un-molested though......

Re: 73 Tahoe?

Seems like the rear door openings/frames over the wheels and the rear door shells would be a nightmare to make. You guys think they used Tahoe stuff to recontour the door frame and door shell? I'd love to see a picture of it with the back door open.

Re: 73 Tahoe?

Thats a photoshop.
Look through the truck at the drivers side rear windows . The length of the rear side window gives it away .
