I have an empty spot in the garage.

The new owner came and picked up the '71 4x4 today. If any of you guys see a nice Red and White 4x4 running around the Lacygne, Kansas area give it a nice pat for me….. Now it's on to another project.

I should have got my butt down to KC to see it before you sold it! Is it a board member that bought it?

You know, I honestly can't tell you... But I don't think so.

Re: I have an empty spot in the garage.

The guy wasn't a board member. He stole that truck from LOCDOC it was worth much more. The nerve of folks to talk someone down on a truck already a bargain.

Sad to see it go. Hopefully it's going to a good home. Is that the '36 furd in the 3rd pic? Maybe we can help you fill that empty hole? As Levi said, can't wait to see what you work on next?

your place looks familiar, your truck was really nice. It should get you some spending money for your coupes. Trevor

Re: I have an empty spot in the garage.

Thanks guys.

Sammy: That's OK Sammy, I didn't have to sell it to him for that and I still made out OK.

tcb-1: Thanks Doug. Yes, he and his brother came up and picked it up. I am going over and talk to the guy about the '72 4x4 tonight.

IvelDesigns: Thanks Levi. I don't know about a build thread. I type so slow I wouldn't get anything done on the truck..

88JRFAN: That is my friend Ron's '40 Ford coupe in the background. The '36 is in a million pieces right now.

71blksuper4x4: You're right Trevor. The money will come in handy for the Coupe and a couple of other projects...

con grats on the sale of the truck. As long as you made a profit that is all that counts....

You mean you can make a profit on these trucks?? Maybe if I didn't count any of my time or labor but then again, who cares? I don't do this for the money but I sure admire anyone's ability to stay emotionally detached enough to know when to sell. That truck was even better up close. Congrats, Leon.

Re: I have an empty spot in the garage.

Congrats on the sale Leon, the new owner definitely has a nice truck now.

Good luck with the future projects!

BTW... what's on the other side of the '71 in the first pic, and then the third pic? The first pic resembles two different vehicles, and then the this pic looks like a coupe.

Re: I have an empty spot in the garage.

Thanks guys.

Nate: In one picture you can see part of Gary's 48 Chevy pickup and in the other you can see part of Ron's '40 Ford Coupe. The guy that bought the pickup wanted to see more of Gary's paint work so the guys drove their rides down.

I wonder why the guy didn't drive the truck home? That would be the fun part.

I'm not sure. He was going to at first then he called and wondered how wide it was to make sure it would fit on his trailer.
