Cab insulation
Any suggestions on what to use for cab insulation? Besides ordering the expensive factory-cut stuff is there a more economical material to utilize?

Re: Cab insulation
Here's a link that I used when I did my truck. I got it at Lowe's as well. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=679562

Re: Cab insulation
I used the rubber reinforced ACC carpet. It also has carpet padding attached. Works well with no other insulation. Can’t hear fuel pump anymore!

Re: Cab insulation
Here is a review I made about Noico Red http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=814233
Here is the thread I had going when I was told about Noico Red by another member. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=792007 whereas this thread is related more to stopping the drone of my dual exhaust, there are other tidbits of info here related to getting a quiet ride. Don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have. I really have gone the extra mile for a quiet truck and the stuff I've done is kinda spread out through various threads. Re: Cab insulation
And I almost forgot...this article is pretty good for comparing the deadeners. Noico makes that too, but after reading this I chose Kilmat brand for that stuff.

Re: Cab insulation
I went with Second Skin Audio for their Damplifier product on the floor pans, firewall, up the back of the cab, doors (inside of the inner and outer panels).
