Will the trailing arms from a 65 or 66 fit?
Are the trailing arms from a 65 or 66 the same dimensions as those used on the 67-72 chassis?

don't "hold my feet to the fire" on this one ... but yes, I think they are the same.

I found a set in a local yard from a 3/4 ton model for a decent price as a bonus they already have the reinforcement plates... Has anyone else used the pre 67 arms on their rides?

Yes except the e-brake cable bracket must be used off the 67-72.

me3, the 3/4 ton trucks had trailing arms that were reinforced to handle to heavier loads.
mothertruckers, thank you. i'll just remove the brackets from my rusted arms and weld them on... thanks. |
