Polyethylene fuel tanks
Has anyone here had any experience with poly fuel tank
installation on a 73-80 chevy/gmc p/u? I see GMC Pauls has them for $124.95 (plus shipping), and was just wondering if anyone here has ever used one before. My concern is with the quality & fit. I also was wondering if they are available from another source for less. Anybody ? |

I actually just ordered one from GMC Paul's last week. It showed up over the weekend, but I haven't even had a chance to take it put of the box. I'll let you know how it looks and fits when I put it in.

Poly fuel tanks
I ordered 2 from Les at GMC Paul's yesterday, (my 78k20 has dual tanks).
I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with these but I guess not. Thanks for your reply. My concern is in the quality. I hope they don't require any extra work to install. My truck sits most of the time. I use it to plow snow, haul firewood, limestone, dirt, lumber, pull my car trailer, etc. I'm giving it it's 3rd restoration now. Complete new body (87) this time. I've owned it for 25 years now. WOW! This time, the 350 small block is being replaced with a 454. Anyway, as soon as I get my tanks , and have them installed, I'll re-post to let anyone that may be interested know how it went. Later, 78k20 |
