Has anyone made a drop out battery box? They do not look too hard to make, just kinda thinking about one. Not sure of how to do the drop.

Re: Drop Battery Box
I made this from a 3' chunk of angle iron and some flat plate no need for a drop out. I would advise a stone shield like I have on the back side to protect the battery.

Re: Drop Battery Box
Mario. Can you get to the Batt. ok ?
Northcountry. It mounts to the frame under the truck so you can get the battery out of the engine compt. & the battery tray drops down to get to the batt. |
