compression
Hi its me agin with another dumb question.... I got a compression gage today to check my compression but I dont know what is good compression and not good...... its a 350 in a 72 thats about all i can tell you . vin # V0523TDJ doubt that helps ....

What really matters is that all the cylinders are within 10% of each other, so if you pull 150 from #1, hopefully the rest fall between 135 and 165. Remove all the spark plugs, disconnect coil wire, fix throttle wide open and give each cylinder a dry comp test, then squirt a little motor oil in each cylinder and retest for a wet test.
