Are all windshields the same from 67-72? Thanks

Same size---but some were tinted. Most replacements are out of Mexico and some are not the best quality.

But I could take an original out of a 71 chevy and put in a 69 GMC?

You can swap them till you drop! Most guys cut the old gasket from the inside to be sure to get it out without breaking the glass. Then use new gasket. Good luck--Huck

different thickness
The new replacements are about 30% thinner glass! That is probably why they crack so easy! I wonder if that is why they also leak more?
