another 5 lug ?
Ok on my 69, the previous owner added disc and drop spindles. However he left it six lug. Is there an easy way to convert it to 5 lug without having to buy a whole new kit? I would like to use as much stuff as I can that I already have!!

You can either buy new axles and drums or replace the rearend.

From what I've read, most 6-lug front disc kits utilize a blank rotor that would be for a 5-lug truck application that were instead drilled/studded for a 6-lug application.
Switching to 5-lug up front should be as easy as picking up a new set of 5-lug rotors @ your local parts house of choice. You should be able to verify this easily w/a board vendor (or pick up some 5-lug rotors & try it.... return them if they don't fit).
