Re: my blazer
Well dil, you would have to work hard to really hurt it, that is for sure. Actually I am glad to see a young man like yourself having an interest in that Blazer. A lot of kids you age around here just want some little import with a load muffler. You will learn a lot from working on it and can be proud to call it yours. I wish I knew the answer to your tranny line question, but please keep us posted with what you are doing with it and your plans for it. There is a lot of people on this board that are here to help you out, so be sure to ask if you need to anything.

Re: my blazer
Looks like a great K5, just needs some TLC. Nice thing about one of these classics, you won't be sitting in traffic right next to something just like it.
I don't have a definite answer regarding your tranny lines. The 4X4's have their engine set back further so those lines may not be long enough to reach - but that could be cured with some fittings and tubing from your local auto parts store to make a short extension.

Re: my blazer
well my plans are to remove the front clip an fenders then remove the engine and trans. paint the fire wall and frame. then rhino line the fire wall and innner fenders. then im gonna do the same thing with the interior except only 6 inches up each wall. then im gonna lift it 4 and put some nice rims and tires on it

Re: my blazer
Sounds like a great plan - be ready for the little surprises that always seem to happen when you start taking an older vehicle apart.

Re: my blazer
Welcome from the eastside of the state. Definitely look up Wes @ Classic Heartbeat. He's not far from you & knows his stuff. Incidently, bought stuff from GMCPaul's - nice folks too. Good luck & hopefully see you round when we get em done.
