Spray Bomb, You need to lighten that mower up a bit and run it in the mower drags. Nice rig.
Not to go off topic but the boat is a 76 Sanger 18.3 circle v drive. Running a warm 402 BBC. Yes a 402, saw another thread were they may not be popular but Ive got this one running good. Mild compression, just shy of 10-1, .630 lift solid roller cam and worked over heads. |

Re: New workin trucks thread, well kinda
Fords are packed away in the barn for now...may never get to em =). I recently gave the truck to my youngest son (24) He's not allowed to ever sell it. I'm keeping it in my name till hes a little more financially responsible, hate to see him try to sell behind my back because he's in another financial pinch. He's going to let me "borrow" it this weekend so I can go get some stuff from PICKMUP.

Re: New workin trucks thread, well kinda
That trucks a nice ride, he's a lucky kid. My dad bought my truck when I was 14 ( 1982 ) and gave it to me when I was about 25 or 26. Ive been packing it around for many years and decided it was time to get to it, so last fall I tore into it. Hope your son appreciates his like I do mine, its a nice gift. However my dad has been talkin Repo since its getting close to done.

Re: New workin trucks thread, well kinda
How about piggyback:
My old Blazer towing a boat. But I was just wanting a shot of the truck: That was a good day.She drove the camper and I drove the Blazer/boat.A fried alternator/battery put a temporary damper on the trip.

NICE! I want a sail boat with a sleeper cabin bad. Don't know what I'd do with it, but I do
Actually, this is about 20 minutes away from my house... http://maps.google.com/maps?channel=...&t=h&z=10&om=1

Re: New workin trucks thread, well kinda
I had it for sale on here last year, sold it pretty cheap too. My dad spent 2 weeks in it on lake erie a few years ago. Since the hang glider accident 2 yeears ago (40 feet, landed on his face) he found the boat was too much to sail alone (lots of pain to this day) So now he has a little tiny thing that even his dodge mini van can pull safely.

Re: New workin trucks thread, well kinda
Cool thread! Nice to see your trucks at work and at play! Here is my 2500 thru the years. Altho these pics are light duty for a 3/4 ton it is the only pics I have on the computer.
First, 1980, moving my sister to Devils Tower Wy. for her new job at the park there. Had owned it for about a year at that time. Second, 1983, recently started my own business and my first sign shop had just wood heat. There is a load of pallets for firewood in the box. Of course it is "working" advertising my shop too. She's kinda dirty as we had freezing rain, snow the afternoon before, and I helped pack a muddy stock car track for a chilly first night of racing. Third, a month ago, altho it's not visible, there is 1500 pounds of pea gravel in the box. The wife went and got the gravel and was afraid to overload it! The pile didn't even stick above the top of the box! Oh well just had to make 2 trips. Hope these are interesting---DAC
