Intake Manifold
I'm putting together a 350 4 bbl for my 68 and trying to make the engine look like it would have when it was new or at least look somewhat correct for the 68-72 years.
Anyhow I really thought the intake was the last thing I would have a problem with. Been through two of them now and both are cracked around the heat riser / exhaust passage underneath the tin heat shield. Must be a common problem. Where can I get a good intake? Anoyone make a new OEM style replacement for a spreadbore carb with a divorved choke? I was looking at the aftermarket aluminum ones and so far have been less then excited as they depart significantly from the originals as far as how they look. Thanks for your thoughts Brian |

Re: Intake Manifold
Your best bet would be to subscribe and post a WTB thread on the parts board. For more info on subscribing click the Support the board link in my sig.
