Re: pics of 4" front lift springs?

I have a 71 3/4 ton and the original springs only had 2 leafs. The 4" rough county have more leafs then that but they don't have much bend to them. I haven't had mine out yet to see how much they will settle. Please ignore the box I'm still working on the rear fuel tank. Sorry not the best pictures hope they help. Jeff

Re: pics of 4" front lift springs?

Looked through my pics but couldn't find any with my stock springs with a load on them. Here's a pic of my 69 K20's stock spring with the weight off of them. With the weight on them they had a slight negative arch.

Here's a pic of the stock spring next to the 4" Tuff Country Ez-Ride springs that I was adding.

And here is a pic of the Tuff Country spring installed without weight

and with weight

Re: pics of 4" front lift springs?

thanks for the awesome pics....
I think I'm gonna stick with my lift, but maybe get some new front springs. I have no idea how long the lift has been on, but it still has a bit of a rake to it. not sure if it ever sat "level " or not...
