door interior trim

I am getting my door inside trim panel painted today and I remember I have the thinretainer strips that go along the top edge to paint as well. Mine appear to have been an aluminum color or grey.

What color were they and is silver an acceptable color? I think it should work since the dash and glove box have a silver accent.

Thanks

Re: door interior trim

There are two types

chrome with a ridge in them

and steel squared off kind. mine are painted grayish so i'd match it to something similar.
