Re: what happened to this build???
I recognize the GMC in the back ground. The builder is name Mark. He bought a really nice 71 with a 67 front clip out of New Mexico or Arizona. He decided to completely rebuild the truck so that's the frame in the picture. If you look at my build you see the bed off it, I drove from Houston to Sarasota, FL to buy the bed. He's been working on a nice coupe which was at Good Guys in Dallas last October. He's back to working on the truck, but it's a sick build. The modifications he's doing are awesome. I saw it in May when I picked up the bed. I'll forward him the thread maybe he'll respond with new pictures. Oh yeah, here's a picture of the truck when he bought it, before he started the crazy build.

Re: what happened to this build???
Nope, he's making a custom bag kit because the one he originally bought for it was only like a 4" drop. He's going with a fleet bed but didn't want to cut up the one I bought. It was too nice to molest. I know the wheel tubs will be even with the bed rails. I think the wheels were custom made too. Here's a few pics of it when I saw it in May. A few other nice cars, hope you don't mind me posting Mark. Sorry for the pic quality, it was probably me shaking after the 19 hour drive to FL.

Re: what happened to this build???
He was a member, but I believe there were a few issues when another member tried to purchase a frame from him so he actually no longer visits the board. IIRC, the frame didn't meet the standards of the other board member, and was portrayed in a different light. (Just so everyone knows I'm not on either side of the situation, somone asked where he went, so I posted what I could remember.)
His board name was insanebehavior and was out of FL.

Wow. I remember seeing in one of the really old threads pics of that fuel injection setup as it was going on the motor.
