Re: Distributor ?

i was just on ebay there is a new aluminum 50k hei with cap rotor and coil including warantee for $35 i think it would be hard to find a good yard one and put new cap rotor and coil in for that much cash. skip white has a 60k for less than 50. that is what i will put in when i get to that point.

Re: Distributor ?

This is the best site I've found when looking to convert or rebuild an HEI. He includes part numbers and some good info towards the bottom of the page.

He is converting a 350 but it should apply to your engine.

Re: Distributor ?

Here's the one I got off of E-bay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHEVY...mZ220323570866
$60, free shipping, 4 year warranty. The Skip White one's work out about the same with shipping and a 3 year warranty.
