were did you get your valve covers?and your headers?are those 3/4 lenght?brands and were did you find them please?thanks

Gotta appreciate that nice clean looking engine compartment. That is the downfall of my truck!!! And until I get a completely new crate engine, or get mine rebuilt I can't see cleaning mine up that much because sure enough something else will go out and leak and get it all dirty again!
Can't wait to see what it looks like in the end!!!

Thanks guys! The truck is in the paint booth right now getting sprayed black. Soon to be home (I hope). The valve covers are GM, the headers are flowtechs 67-up Chevelle. I had them coated at a place nearby. Had to trim the frame about 2 inches where the headers were rubbing. You can just barely see it in the picture. Edelbrock carb, comp cam, polished manifold, hooker mufflers. Boy does it sound good when started!! Now I need some wheels and tires and this project is finished!
