I have a set of heads off of a 350 with 333882 stamped on them. I would appreciate any information on them. I know they have 1.94 intake and1.5 exhaust valvesbut I don't know the cc chamber. Are they good or bad and what horsepower motor would they be bolted on to.

Those are what some call " light weight heads" Beware of cracks in the center exhaust seats, VERY common

There were some light, and some heavy.
As far as smogger heads go, these are some of the better flowing ones. Even the light ones will hold up OK...I had my light 882's (on my GMC with some porting done to them) up to 260 degrees once if memory serves. I lost a fan belt out on the freeway and I was doing about 80 - 85 MPH.
They held up just fine. Not that I would recomend yankin off your belt to test them...

flow figures for those heads

.100" lift intake ... 70 CFM
.100" lift exhaust... 59 cfm

.200" intake... 125 cfm
.200" exhaust... 109 cfm

.300" intake... 178 cfm
.300" exhaust... 136 cfm

.400" intake... 204 cfm
.400" exhaust... 143 cfm

.500" intake... 205 cfm
.500" exhaust ... 144 cfm

Ideally you want your flow numbers to be in the 75 % exhaust to intake. Those heads are pretty close although your ports start restricting flow around .400" of valve lift. Your best best wold be a fairly sraight pattern cam with somewhat equal duration and lift in the mid .400" lift range and around 215-225 degrees at .050" duration. With a performer intake or something similar and a 600 cfm carb you'd be looking at around 325 HP or so. Running it through the desktop dyno I picked up 332 HP with a comp cams XE 268 and 378 ft lbs of torque at 3500 RPM using small tube headers and duals

A majority of the small blocks I have rebuilt for people, seemed to have 882's on them. They must have been very common. I also read somewhere, that they were considered "the best of the worst"...........

They are 76cc and are good heads for street usage on pump gas .Make sure you have a set with a 1976 or later casting date so they will have hardened seats for unleaded gas.If not you will have burnt valves before long.

I have a set of these in my garage right now that I have been trying to get rid of for a while. I thought the were decent heads but I kept hearing that they were awful. I bought them cuz they were better than the 305 heads I had on. They are just empty castings right now waiting for new parts. Should I keep them and have them worked on or sell them cheap?

if you have them worked...valve job..tanked..new seats..valves ..retainers..springs ..seals..locks..you will be looking at over 300.00 and all you will have is a set of mediocre stock heads..if you do a bowl port job..thats 200.00 more..for a couple of hundred more you can get some nice aftermarket heads...
