Thumbs up CHECK IT OUT! my "rendering" pics!!

well guys, this is going to be how she looks when done besides the wheels... its just not realistic to think or say i can have some 22" slots made($$) but i do love them! They will be Coys c5's. Joseph Durant (jdurant) is the man with some serious skills! check this out and see what ya think.

That's awesome work. I like the new helium filled tires that allow it to levitate...

I actually like these version better. The second one is kinda out there with the pattern in the two tone, but I like it. The "ghost tribal" design could start a new trend.

Re: CHECK IT OUT! my "rendering" pics!!

You probably could pull the wheels off fairly easily it just would cost more than pre made ones. They way they do the pre made hoops and CNC machine a center piece for them, you can get just about anything you want. Wouldn't be exactly like the pic but could be close.

I think Ken works for Billet Specialties on the side! The Legacy G's do look great on there!

Re: CHECK IT OUT! my "rendering" pics!!

There is nothing wrong with the version you posted. Actually I have no problem with the wheels.

I love old school "slotted mags" as we used to call them. I just "prefer" the Legacy G's because it's a modern twist on the Ansen/Halibrand spindle mount wheels.

Looks like your truck is in a scene from a PS3 driving game. All it needs is some dude hanging out the window popping caps..

Re: CHECK IT OUT! my "rendering" pics!!

Hey guys. Thanks for the compliments. I actually didn't know this was going on until after I sent Dennis the final copy.

Look, my name is red too.

Anyway, as some of you may know, I was recently laid off from the company that I practically built. It was a rotten deal, but hopefully it will end up as a blessing in disguise. I think that job was slowly sucking the life out me anyway. Well, that scenerio has made me rethink everything, and I think I am gonna persue something that I have been wanting to do for a long time. Besides I'm awfully sick of making people that I wouldn't hire--rich. I've run two different companies, and by god, I think it's time I start my own.

I should be able to do just about any type of imaging/rendering/media ad work/logo/graphics,...anything really. My background is in fine art and design. I am actually a painter/sculpter by trade--though that's not were I've made my money. So if yall need any kind of visuals--Let me know.

Nothing is set in stone yet, not even the name. I'm working to get all of that set up, and I will keep yall informed and post my own thread with more specific info when I have it.

In the meantime, while I am just starting out, I need to do some work for samples. I wanted to offer the first five guys that want me to digitally pimp their ride a discounted price. I can do something similar to what Menace has here(except the head lights)for $100. I really can't do that for too long though, hopefully I won't have to. But no matter what, members of this board will always get some discounts form me.

It will be a totally original work of art featuring your ride. And it doesn't necessarily have to be a rendering. Your finished truck deserves it too. And I'd love to do some other vehicles too. If you wanna be one of the fortunate five, lemme know. Just drop me a pm.

What do you think?

Re: CHECK IT OUT! my "rendering" pics!!

Thank you for the comments and kind words everyone but i cant take any credit for this... i had a picture in my mind and Joseph brought it out to real life. he took my mental picture and was able to put it on paper/screen for me and everyone else to see.
I agree John! his work speaks for itself thats for sure!!

If anyones in the middle or begining or even end of a project this is more than just for motivation. This is a work of art that (I CANT STOP STARING AT FOR ONE!!) is going to be displayed for everyone to see along with the truck and build sheet. Neighbors and friends come over and dont quit get it?? show them what its going to look like...

Have you considered using a pre 77 headlight bezel? I think it would look a little sleeker.

Chuck thats actually not the correct bezel shown. It looks almost like an 80 with the headlight/park lamp intergrated as one piece.
