one bad squeek

yea my rat rod is being a turd for the last weeks it squeeks it sounds like its from the rear end on the driver side it squeeks through each gear but not between gears and only when accelerating, dont squeek when coasting, and i had it on the lift at school today and ran through the gears and it didnt squeek and i dont like it what could be some things i could check

U joint , rear U joint but might as well replace them both if it is a one piece drive shaft .

I 3rd the U-joint. Could be pinion bearings or something further into the rearend (pray for U-joint). I had an S-10 once that squeeked like you describe, and it was actually the leaf springs- changed those plastic things between the leaf and the squeek went away... but I'm betting that's not common.
