I'm replacing the cab corners on my '80 and was thinking that maybe I should put some drain holes in them so they won't hod moisture and crud....any thoughts?

My 73 had a metal 1" or so plug in the cab corner. When i pulled it, it was full of crap so i left it out

only problem with leaving those out is the hole is not low enough, it is higher than the bottom of the corner so it will allow water and moisture in and not allow it out...

I would just say drill a couple of small holes at the very bottom not noticeable and problem solved

is that that white plug behind the cab corner?

the old mustangs have a little rubber flapper on the quarter panel that seals up the hole but has a little Vee in it to allow the water to come out. Its supposed to seal it from water while moving down the road. I don' think it worked TOO good as they still rusted out. I have drilled little holes in them though but never kept the truck long enough to see if they worked
