Re: drop spindle help!
I cant remember what I did when I installed the DJM spindes on my 82. When I get home I will check and take some pics of them. What side are you working on?

Re: drop spindle help!
You need to gently bend the brake line to fit.

Re: drop spindle help!
x2.
You need to "tweak" the steel line away from the upper ball joint.

Re: drop spindle help!
I usually slip a crescent wrench over the line long ways so it doesn't try to kink. Gently lean it out of the way and your good to go.

Re: drop spindle help!
I agree here, and wish the sellers stated that more.
I did my 1982 GMC Dually many years ago and ran into the very same issue. Most importantly, as I have seen you have already accomplished this... Is to support that metal end of you brake line's tube; and by all means support that tube when you are bending it! A tube can collapse if you place too much pressure at that point and incorrectly bend it. Be careful when doing this!!!

I use an air chisel to push the leftover rivet thru the frame.

Re: drop spindle help!
It the wheel hitting the spindle, caliper, or a-arm?
Check all three places.
