Re: 67-68 grill idea
which kits are you talking about? As far as I know the billet inserts are LMC as on your picture and the bumper will fit your truck. Only thing you'll have to do is most likely extend the pigtails so they will reach the bumper...
I might be missing another subtle change...

Re: 67-68 grill idea
With those billet inserts, you are gonna have to configure a hood release cable system in your cab in order to pop your hood.

Re: 67-68 grill idea
I think he deleted the turn signals that come on the lower part of the billet piece. And that's why hes using the 72 bumper to have turn signals.

Re: 67-68 grill idea
Use the headlights with turn signals built into them and you can still use the 67-68 bumper

Re: 67-68 grill idea
He could also mount a set of amber fog lights behind the billet insert, use them as turn signals, and keep the original smooth bumper. Thats what i plan on doing with my 72.

Re: 67-68 grill idea
and they make a long T-handle that they sell with thos billet grilles that attach to the hood release if you don't want to do a cable release. You'd reach under the bumper to release it....

Re: 67-68 grill idea
thanks for all the info guys
DZL1 i like that idea about turn siganls behind the grill nd keepin the smooth bumper i may look into that what is funny is that the headlights with turn signals seem out of place to me thats y i used the 72 bumper oh yah i am lookin at the lmc kit but the top billet insert is longer then the bottom due to the turn signals you think they would let me get 2 top peices if i asked that way i dont have to order 2 sets |

Re: 67-68 grill idea
The kit comes with an "L" shaped handle and bracket that is supposed to alow you to open the hood from under the bumper. The handle is too small in diameter to be of any use and the bracket is too short. I will be making my own "T" handle for this. WES

Re: 67-68 grill idea
That mesh is a nice touch... much prefer the turn signals in the headlights than anywhere else.
I'd like a front bumper without bolt heads and the license plate shape part removed... something Foose would do. |

Re: 67-68 grill idea
I like the look of those better than mine and they're a whole lot cheaper than what I got:
http://www.itsasnapwireandcable.com/ Mine are brighter than stock (or should I say "old" headlights). |
