Question Stereo installation in Glove Box What are you guys useing?

I want to install a stereo in my Glovebox and keep my original in the dash but Don't know what to use for a console I did a search with no results? What are you guys useing to install the stereo in your glove boxes to support it and keep it in place? I am looking for a little console type or plastic installation kit for mounting an aftermarket radio that can be used in a glove box and look good thanks.... Also if you have some pictures I would love to see them

I've seen some nice pieces made of sheetmetal, I plan to make a template out of posterboard and then rivet or TIG a sheetmetal mount together...

Not sure who did this one but I like it...

Re: Stereo installation in Glove Box What are you guys useing?

My glovebox was gone. I made a new glovebox out of sheetmetal. I made a little platform for the stereo and have a hole with a grommet right behind it for all the wires. Nothing fancy, but the dash is all cut up so my triple gauges live in the stereo spot. No pictures, but picture the first reply above but with the stereo on a platform instead of closed in.

That was Kelsfine. He was making them and selling them on the board a few years ago.
