The one that got away...

First of all, thanks to member Tmend for being willing to look this truck over for me. Thomas wouldn't take anything for his efforts, was happy to do me a favor. Another example of the great folks on this board.

Some things weren't adding up. Not sure if it was a scam or not. Supposedly sold to someone from Washington state that showed up in Santa Monica 3 hours before Thomas was getting there. No mention of anyone else looking at the truck when the appointment was made at 9pm last night. Thomas also tried to see the truck during his lunch (in the light) when the seller was at work and then test drive after he got off work (in the dark). Seller would not give home address. Told Thomas to call him after work. Truck was sold at 2pm. Seller works until 3pm. I've attached the only pictures I could get sent to me.

I was going to use it for a welding truck until my daughter got out of school and then find a bed and restore it for her. After studying the SPID in the picture I was able to read, bucket seats A50, tach U16, and Cheyenne Super YE9 . Couldn't make out the rest or ran out of imagination.

Maybe it was too good to be true and I'm just a sap. It was exactly what I needed now and what my daughter needs in 2 years.

K20 Super, no rust , no hacked dash or doors, ZZ4 crate, AC, AT, PS, PB, tach, buckets.

If anyone happens to see the truck, I'd be interested to know where and if it is or was a board member's .

I'll stop whining now.

I see a Custom Camper option on the SPID, do not see the emblems on the truck though. Not sure if they always put the emblems on or not, might have fallen off too.
