a little progress on the 69
started painting my 69 stepper today, im using krylon satin oxford blue paint from your local wally world. but had to stop for a while the wind is going crazy today and im wasting to much paint. i still got to do some sanding on the passenger side but i almost got the whole bed painted. still cant decide if i wanna paint the roof white or blue like the rest of the truck

Re: a little progress on the 69
Looks pretty good for a rattle can job. I've always wondered how many years you can get out of a rattle can spray job. It seems to me that the paint would be too thin to last very long - does anyone know?

Hey that's lookin pretty good for rattle can. White or blue top? Man I dont' know. Maybe a darker blue? That's a nice looking set of wheel covers. Vette aren't they?

Re: a little progress on the 69
Looks real good... first thing I noticed (aside from the nice rattle can job) is the vette caps.... '68, or '69 I believe. Love that look with those caps.... looking forward to more pics. Nice work.

Re: a little progress on the 69
About 8 years ago I got sick of the look of my truck at rattle shot it. It was nice for about 2 years in AZ might last a bit longer in a cooler place. I your truck looks good. Might try a spray can handle to save your finger tips.

Lookin' good! Myself I think it would look good with a white top. Not a bright white but an off white or creamy white. LockDoc

Re: a little progress on the 69
Nice looking 69, I like the color. I rattle caned my 88 GMC DD about 18 months ago and it is definatly in need of some touch up but over all I'm pretty happy with it and it looks much better than the multi - colored mess it was.
