Will this Qjet work in my truck?
I saw this carb on craigslist and was wondering if it would fit my truck. I have a 350/350 that currently has a 2 barrel carb and I would like to put an edelbrock performer manifold that I already have on it. I was wondering if this carb would work. It's from a manual transmission truck, so I don''t know about the kickdown, etc.
Any thoughts? http://orlando.craigslist.org/pts/2695992887.html

It's a divorced-choke model, so you will need a divorced-choke Q-jet intake, which shouldn't be too hard to find. There will be a hole on the throttle lever to add a kick-down stud that's available at most auto parts stores.

Re: Will this Qjet work in my truck?
do you have HEI on your truck now? if not, now would be a good time to convert since you'll be changing the intake manifold. just a suggestion

Re: Will this Qjet work in my truck?
yes, I do already have HEI. Definitely a good idea, though.

Edelbrock Performer (2101) and Performer RPM Spreadbore (7104) intake has the pieces to mount a divorced choke.
