Re: 1969 Truck Data Book
So what does this data book actually contain? Seems like a cool piece. How did you end up with it?

These books were used by dealers to educate themselves and buyers. This book is in excellent condition (much nicer than my '72 book). |

These books are a must have for the truck enthusiast that wants to know everything that the factory put on these and what was available just a cool read and a must have for the die hard truck guy or any one who want good correct info on these truck. I may have a spare 71 book if needed.

Re: 1969 Truck Data Book
if you are into your truck like most of us are it is worth having and if you intend to buy another truck some day it has all of the info to decode it and make sure it is right before you buy it or at least tell you what has been done to the truck and they are getting really scarce each dealer ship had at least one some had a couple depending on volume of sales and staff. I am not trying to talk you in to it just laying it out for you as some people I know and have met over the last 25 years doing this stuff had never even seen one or new they existed.

Re: 1969 Truck Data Book
I'm getting more and more interested...It would be awesome to own this...How are these different from what the factory assembly manuals have in them and overhaul service manuals?

Re: 1969 Truck Data Book
I see there is info on the El Camino and all the other c10-60, but the only one I'm really interested in is the c/10...And everything associated with it.

Re: 1969 Truck Data Book
the truck Data book covers all platforms of the truck from C=10 to the 90 series big trucks to Elcamino to the Vega delivery and G10 -30 vans and so on but is has EVERY THING GM had for the C-10-30 series trucks you wont find this info for these truck any where else but the Data book the rest is just a bonus plus there is a lot of other cool stuff int the book as well and they are not making them like that any more it is a good investment for sure.
