L99/LT1 Intake?
I was browsing at my local pull-n-pay and saw a 90's Caprice with the L99(4.3 v8). From what Ive read these engines didnt make much power(200hp/245tq) but I also read some had the Lt1 intake manifold. Has anyone swapped one onto a 305 or gen I 350? I know Id need the harness but if its worth it Im sure I could get it for cheap.

Yes, a baby LT1, a 3" stroke 305 block. They do have LT1 intakes on them. You do realize that you have to modify the bolt pattern drill and then epoxy or weld a dizzy mount & hold don and then use external crossovers for the coolant?

Not worth the hassle IMO. You can pick up an entire LT1 with all accessories and wiring harness and put it in your truck for cheap.

Re: L99/LT1 Intake?
The internal ports are not the same from the "baby" setups, they're smaller. Same modifications apply though.
I've done a few of the conversions for TPI to LT1 intake swaps and they are easy, but from carbed or TBI to LT1 it's going to take a new harness. Score a TPI harness cheap and the rest is pretty easy actually. Here's a site that still hosts some of the write ups that I saw back in the early 2000's when I did mine. http://sethirdgen.org/LT1.htm You can even use the LT4 intake with Vortec heads using the same methods! EDIT: Oops, looks like most of those links are broken... Dang.
