Power steering question

Has anyone ever hooked up a power steering pump from a 87-95 sbc to a steering box in a 67-72? Do the fitting match up an things like that?

Re: Power steering question

No you will have a couple of options here. Being that the pump has metric fittings you can either order an adapter from LEE manufactering or if you have a older pump unscrew the pressure relief valve[ it looks like the big nut on back that the line screws into] and put it into the newer pump then you can use the line from your truck if you have one. Good luck with the swap ,and if you are wondering, the General went to the metric pump in the early 80's so if you were to find a valve from a junk yard if needed if would need to be before then to do any good
