coil compressor
Just curious, when I finally get to the point of dropping my truck. Do I need to get a coil compressor to remove and install the new coils?

Re: coil compressor
Jack the rear frame and put them on jacksatnds and start unbolting the spring cups, if the coils have cups with nuts welded on them your most likely going to snap them off which is no biggie, just a speed bump.

Re: coil compressor
Don't just let the lower A-Arm drop when you break loose the balljoints as this can be dangerous. I put a floorjack about an inch below the arm so it can't drop too far and then lower it down slowly once the balljoint is free as it will still be under alot of pressure.
