who was headed to missoula montana looking for trucks?
i did go and check out several trucks when i was home. most the ones at the car lots were a waste of time. i actualy laughed at one sales man when he gave me the price of a 72 c10. was 9k, and needed work! lol. yea right...
i was amazing how many trucks are in that town. i saw at least 100 trucks in a week. really, im not kidding. im sure a few were repeat sightings but still! if you just drive down the major roads in missoula you will run into several for sale. i also saw several down the bitterroot, allong side the highway with forsale signs in them. if you want to took at the crazy used car lot. its on russtle ave just down from broadway. missoula car and truck i think is the name. they had like 4 or 5 trucks. sometime in the past they must have screwed someone on one of these trucks, and got the idea its easy money.. something like that. typical used car place...they have a spot in hell saved just for used car dealers.

Montan is my home also.
thats crazy..I am from the Hamilton..born and raised...but i moved to missoula (lived up the rattlesnake) to go to college. I used to work at St. Pats and bowled at liberty lanes twice a week. I lived in Missoula for about 4 years...but I have been in the bitteroot all my life. Now I am in Paris texas..go figure. But I did see a ton of cool trucks there and I know the car dealer you are talking about..it right before the bridge heading to Broadway. if mem serves right, they had a bunch of hot rods but they wanted an arm and a leg for them. But in Hamilton was where i bought my first 72..it was a half ton 4x4 350 with a 4 spd/granny 1st..it was cool, and to this day i cannot figure why I sold it. Go Grizz!!

there is a small used car lot in Brevard, NC with two 67-72 trucks. One is a 72 cheyenne. Ochre and white. Nice lookin truck with a rebuilt motor. I think it has been lowered too. The guy wants, no less then $13,000. He has another one now, but i dont know anything about it.

sorry day im back in San Antonio now, wish I could have stayed for the summer!
going to montana in the summer make people wonder why anyone would move from there, its Absolut heaven. no place like Montana in the summer time.....all 3 weeks of it! hahaha So wreck how are ya fitting in up there in north Texas? We western Montana people are like round pegs in the Texas Square hole.... or at leas down here in San Antonio. I do like the lack of snow we have down here though!

trucks in Helena, MT
There are a lot of 67-72 chevy/gmc for sale, I see several of them on my way to work. there are a few on the lots, but too pricey. they seem to be a dime a dozen up here, I have been able to get so many parts, for my 67 project.
