Help! Need an intermediate shaft
I recently purchased a basket case 1968 step side, I've been putting it together with my son and discovered we don't have an intermediate shaft. I've searched and it looks as there are a few options. The steering gear is not original, I think it's off a 70-72 and it is a power steering unit, the stock/original unit was manual. I've heard an atro van steering shaft/intermediate shaft will work?
Anyone with info on what's an easy swap or where I can find a used C10 shaft? Or even make my own without spending a ton of money? My opinion is the homemade kits are a bit over priced at $250 or so. Thanks in advance! -joe

Is the rag joint there? I don't know where you live in MN but members "too much stuff" (Eric) or "Vintage Windmills" (Jud) live up that way and should be able to help you out... LockDoc
