1968 gmc glove box emblem pic needed
Ive had a 68 gmc burb (says custom on the outside doors) for 3 years now I think. Anyways, it is missing the glovebox emblem and was wondering if anybody has a picture of what I should be looking for?

Anybody know if these GMC emblems are reproduced? If yes, who offers them?

They are the same. No one is making repos of this I believe. There was a guy on here a couple months ago who made a couple on his cnc machine and Sold them. Maby try and locate that thread and see if you could talk him into making more if you need one.

I realize '60-'66 GMC pickups did not come with them, but they would look great on this series also, the font is spot on!

It is. The vertical rib background. I have a big chrome and black emblem on my '72's tool box. I think it's from a '60s Handi-Van or Valu-Van. It has the same ribbed background and is an oblong rectangle. A larger version of the glovebox emblem

Re: 1968 gmc glove box emblem pic needed
Here is a picture of an original that was re-plated on the top and the cnc'ed one on the bottom. I didn't like the look of the original after throwing a lot of money at it getting it vaccumized plastic plated and had a friend cut up some on his cnc. If you guys would like one get a hold of me through pm

Re: 1968 gmc glove box emblem pic needed
Just received a GMC glove box emblem from Curtb1971 I ordered about a week ago and is unbelievably nice. The picture above does not do it justice. Thank you for the help on an emblem that I could not find anywhere else. Thanks Again
