Opinions on this grille

I'm looking for an older chrome grille for my 50
what do all you experts think of the condition (from the pictures) and ideas what it is worth?

thanks
Mike

Far from an expert...guessing $50 - $75. I traded two used curved corner windows to a buddy for the one in my truck. Similar to the one you pictured then I sand blasted it.

Looks like it would clean up ok with some solvent or wd40 and brass wool, and a bunch of elbow grease. Don't use steel wool, it make everything turn oranger...

It's just worth what he will take and you are willing to spend - just consider the labor to make it nice.

What's the frame work behind i like? What type of finish are you after? A brass wire wheel on a drill or die grinder will give it a brushed look.

Re: Opinions on this grille

The frame work looks good. this item is on ebay.

I'm looking for something chrome and original or just not new. New wont really fit the truck unless I change a few parts, bumpers and headlight bezels are going to be old or original

Re: Opinions on this grille

the grill on my 58 looked a lot worse than that
looks like that was has most of the rust on the painted parts
a little elbow grease made my grill presentable
