Thanks for the responses. If I am going to have tp pay 3/400 for a set of hubcaps I'd want them mint/NOS and have the blue bow ties.

The blue bow ties are going to cost closer to 6-8 hundred. At least that is what they seem to be going for on eBay. Blue paint on 73 up are a more economical way to go.

LOL that is true about the blue vs the yellows. Mine are just about NOS but I don't have the boxes and they have been installed that's why I say almost mint.

Just to let you know what they're selling for . . .

I bought these this past January for $175 from an ad on this forum.

They were actually better then they look in the pictures.

I scrubbed them with soap and water - then chrome polish and wax on the black.

They must have been on a truck for a VERY SHORT time !!!

Scratch that after starting to wipe them down I doubt their anything at all that you would want. Truck sat to long and the chrome has pits in it, and they have a few dings here and there. Glad to pass along a picture but like said far from perfect. John

Yes the yellow Bowties would be acceptable. Now with that being said it seems that the yellow Bowtie ones I've seen have been priced pretty much the same as the blue ones. If I am going to pay a premium price for a great set of P01's I might as well wait until a blue bow tie set comes along so I don't have to go through the hassle of getting the yellow painted blue. After my ramble here the bottom line is yes I'll take yellow bowtie caps if the price is right for me.
