New Year Resolution

It's that time of year, let's hear what all of our plans are for 2015!

Mine are:
1. Rebuild, reupholster and install my buckets
2. full disk brake conversion
3. Rebuild my 350, to try and get some more HP

....and lots of small odd ball stuff.

What about the rest of us?

Wishing everyone a happy and safe new year!

My truck should be done this year. It was supposed to be back from paint now and it's not even close to paint. My goal is Memorial Day

Re: New Year Resolution

Install Flowmaster Super 50s
Install rear roll pan
Drive it a lot more and farther.
Repair(weld) vibrating tailgate.
Buy Mig welder
Learn to weld, then fix tailgate.

Re: New Year Resolution

Minor rust repair, body work, body work, body work. My goal is to get the Cheyenne cab ready for paint and mounted to a 4x4 frame this year. And put the final details on the '57 to get it ready to be my daily driver.

Re: New Year Resolution

Paint!

First photo is what we're working with now. Second is where I hope to be by summer.

Now just have to get the wife to keep New Year's Resolution about not spending all the money I set aside for the truck!

Smile Re: New Year Resolution

Lets see...hmmm,
Ok first: Fix the broken exhaust/valve spring on my 350....hopefully within the next month (weather dependent).
2nd: Replace my power steering pump (works fine but starting to whine)
3rd: Install my overload springs that I bought a couple of years ago.
4th: At some point start move towards a repaint....at least the major faded portion. (luckily no rust or bodywork issues to deal with).
....thats a big enough list for now!!
Luckily the truck is a really great, reliable daily driver so I'm always hesitant to take it off the road for long (except winter) but it deserves a few things.
