get to know each other??

I was figuring with all the newbies and me being one myself(pretty much), We could post who we are and where were at. It will make it easy on us to find out who's who of the 67-72 truck board, and who is near and far.
I will start.

My name is Will, 22, in Hendersonville, NC. Been here 2 yrs, spent the 10 before that in Northeast Wyoming. I am married with no kids, but a dog and a cat. The dog is a big baby anyways

I am a civil engineer tech, on my way to my civil engineering degree.

AND - i am just getting into the 67-72 trucks. I had wanted one for quite a while and finally got one.

Howdy everyone,

My name is TJ, Tommy, Tom, Mud, Sh*thead, etc. I'm 23, a Cancer, and very single...

Oh wait, this is a truck board :p

I live in central Illinois (Gridley to be exact, ever heard of it??...???...didn't think so.) I lived here for 22 years, moved to Tampa last November, and just moved back here about two weeks ago. I've had my 68 c10 swb stepside for over 3 years now, and the "restification" is taking an EXTREMELY long time.

I am currently unemployed , but I'm combing the countryside looking for a job, I'm going crazy without one!! I'm going to try and get into the computer service field, as I almost have my computer hardware tech certificate....(I need to go finish it up).

*phew, stepping off the soap box now*

My name is Mike, I live in Sudbury Ontario, about 4 hours north of Toronto. I'm 28 years old ( damn I thought I was younger). I grew up here, but moved to Ottawa for a couple of years, went back to school up there and guess what, moved back here about 2 months ago.

The truck had to sit in storage while I was gone so I now have to get it back on the road, but wanna get a few thigns done first, since it is already august and not much more time before the snow flys .

My name is Jason, but everyone calls me Jay. I live in Loudon, NH, and have lived in NH all my life. I'm 21, and currently a Senior at Kettering University, studying to be a Mechanical Engineer with an Automotive Chassis specialty, and when I'm not there, I'm back at home working at my co-op job at Freudenberg-NOK, and wrenching on my truck and my friends' vehicles. Engineering is fine, but someday I'd like to own my own Performance and Classic Restoration shop. One can dream right?

I'm Corey. I'm 30 and work as a sr. software developer and architect in Seattle, WA. I've been in love with 67-72 chevy trucks since I was 6 years old, but since my dad sold his one-owner 67 C10 when I was 12 I haven't had the opportunity to own one. I didn't buy my own until 2 years ago. Since then I've been forcing myself to learn everything about building the coolest truck. Now I have two of them. I've had some good experiences, and developed some good skills and knowledge, but I have a LONG way to go!

Welcome...

I'm Chris, I live in Bothell, WA - across Lake Washington from Seattle. I work in Bellevue, WA - land of the pimped out H2. I'm 34 and a Senior Designer for a design firm. My wife and I just celebrated our 3rd anniversary. We have one daughter and she just turned 7 month old last week. This is my second Blazer. I previously owned a '72 but I had to sell it when the appartment complex I lived in would only let me keep one car in the lot. I vowed to get another one. Told my wife before we got married that I would be getting another Blazer after we bought a house!

Hello; I'm John... Carpenter from Las Vegas Nevada... 45 years old and a recycled teenager... happily living the life I couldn't 20 years ago because of kids, and the usual obligations... I'm heavily involved in NASCAR, and IMCA short track racing...this keeps me real busy most of the year... I've always liked these trucks, and have owned three over the years... currently I have a 69 C-10 SWB that is just a gas to drive... I haven't done much to it lately.. the stock car has first dibs on my spare cash... I also enjoy boating, and playing guitar..
