Resistor-Dumb question
I pulled the heater/AC control to replace the fan switch. I also replaced the relay behind the glove box. Vendor said to replace the resistor at the same time. Where is it? Told you it was a dumb question. TF

I *think* the resistor he is referring to is the three-pronged thingamabob on the heater/ac box. But I could be wrong.

Resistor Connection
Jeff 5150, Any chance that has 2 blue and 2 yellow wires on the plug? If so, it's inside the box, no wonder I couldn't find it. Tfrog

The resistor controls the fan speeds, if you are replacing the switch because of melting connectors there is too much resistance in the blower motor itself, thus creating heat.
