1987 gm axles 3.42 gears from a 1/2 Ton pickup 6 lug
Will the axle of a 1/2 Ton GM pickup 6 lug fit the AD 1949 3100?

Check the pad mounting location (can be changed) and track width, drum to drum. You will probably find it is wider which will make the tires stick out beyond the fenders with standard wheels.

67 68 and 69 only 3 years that the wms (wheel mount surface) to wms is 1/2" wider. Moves the tire 1/4 inch and retains 6 lug and a 1310 u joint.
Yes, cut the coil pads off and weld some perches after loosely assembling the axle in the truck.
